Are there museums in Salou?
Although there are not many art galleries or museums in Salou, there are several historic houses and other notable places with public exhibitions open during the day. The only declared museum is in the Old Tower, but even he keeps a relatively low profile.
We briefly review the options of museums in Salou and surroundings. In Tarragona and Reus, right next to Salou, things change. In these 2 cities there is a great variety of museums and cultural activities.
La Masía Catalana is both an exhibition and a community center, so there is a lot to do here apart from seeing exhibitions. Lastly, the thousand-year-old olive trees in the center of Salou are a kind of natural history museum in themselves.
Catalan farmhouse Salou
The Catalan farmhouse was built in 1974 with authentic building materials taken from much older buildings. It offers a window into the past, recreating scenes of traditional life in the Catalan countryside and including a collection of farm implements and artifacts on display.
During the summer a craft market is held here, while at Christmas the local stable is used to create a charming nativity scene.

Casa Bonet (Xalet Bonet / Xalet Voramar)
Address: Salou, Spain, ES
This house is almost a century old and is a splendid example of the type of modernist architecture that the masters of the early 20th century were producing in Spain. One of Gaudí's students, Domènec Sugranyes i Gras, designed and built this elegant modernist building.
